Job Description

Orchard Village is looking for a full-time Controller.

Controller Responsibilities:

Assist the EVP & CFO in the oversight and management of the financial affairs of Orchard Village. Maintain and apply knowledge of the relationship of financial functions of the agency to the achievement of personal outcomes for the clients. Collect and interpret key financial data and analyze performance against budget. Prepare financial statements with supporting schedules for guidance to management. Participate in the Board Finance Committee.

Controller Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in a non-profit organization.
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Excel and financial/payroll software.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Government/grant reporting experience.
  • Working knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax and banking.
