The Twenty-first Star Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a meeting on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at the Park Ridge Country Club, 636 N. Prospect Avenue in Park Ridge at 11:30 a.m. A luncheon will be served at 12:00 p.m. with a meeting and program to follow. Hostesses for the day are: Penny Kerndt, Sharon Bollinger, Liz Greenhill, and Gene Andersen, Chairman. Chapter Regent, Gail Enault, is pleased to have Mr. Terry Benshoof, present a program entitled, "D Day". Mr. Benshoof is an attorney in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. He is also the post commander of American Legion Post 3 located in Glen Ellyn. The Twenty-first Star Chapter NSDAR serves the Park Ridge, Niles, Des Plaines, and Morton Grove areas. Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal decent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership.
