The Twenty-first Star Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a meeting on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at the Park Ridge Country Club, 636 N. Prospect Avenue in Park Ridge at 11:30 a.m. A luncheon will be served at 12:00 p.m. with a meeting and program to follow. Hostesses for the day are: Linda Andrews, Bette Kash, Joyce Pence, and Gene Andersen, Chairman. Chapter Regent, Gail Enault, is pleased to have Vice Regent, Carol Gale present a program entitled,“Your Family Heirloom”. Carol has been active in the Twenty-first Star Chapter for many years and has served as Vice Regent since 2015. Members are invited to bring a family heirloom to the meeting and share its history with the chapter. The Twenty-first Star Chapter NSDAR serves the Park Ridge, Niles, Des Plaines, and Morton Grove areas. Women who are interested in NSDAR membership should know that any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal decent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership.
